Residential Children's Support Care Worker (RSCW)

The Bettermeant Group is on the lookout for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join the team within a Children’s Residential Home in the Swadlincote area on a fixed term basis.
The role comes with a requirement to pattern work shifts, as well as carrying out between 5-10 sleep shifts every month.

Roles and Responsibilities
We are looking for those who share our values, show commitment, compassion, empathy and care for our children and young people. You will be supported by the Residential Team Leader and the Registered Manager.
As a Residential Support Care Worker, you will work within a team to support the needs of each young person. It is your role to provide a supporting, caring, and safe environment for all young people in our homes.
On a daily basis you will be supporting and encouraging young people in educational development, addressing any health needs and promoting a healthy lifestyle. You will be facilitating and encouraging contact between their families, professionals and their local communities and assisting in their social, emotional and physical development. Collectively, you will undertake cooking meals, eating and tidying up.
As a Residential Support Care Worker you will also be involved in planning and delivering activities, supporting other team members for young people, internal and external to the home.
